Graduation

“Je puis tout par celui qui me fortifie.” Philippiens 4.13

After 6 weeks of intense French training my 4 classmates and I graduated this morning! Thank you SO much for your prayers the past 6 weeks. It is truly only through Christ’s strength that we were able to learn so much in such a short period of time. Never has Philippians 4:13 meant so much to me! “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

1114140959Not only am I thankful for your prayers, I am also thankful for our instructors who tirelessly taught us French grammar (also often teaching us English grammar that we’d forgotten!), vocabulary, verb conjugation and correct pronunciation. They gave so much of their time to help us succeed!

Please continue to keep us in your prayers. Two of my classmates, Michaelle and Sarah, and I will be leaving on December 6 for Togo. There are many small details that need to be taken care of in the next 3 weeks. And of course there are many goodbyes to be said as well. I’ll be heading to Pensacola on Wednesday to speak at my sending church, Point Baptist Church. Please be praying for safety as I drive to Pensacola and then to Fort Wayne the next day.

#D21034 Raised $1,310 towards the $1,947 target. Due to an increase in administrative and health insurance costs, my monthly support requirement has increased.  I am currently 67% supported. Would you prayfully consider joining my support team?

I am looking forward to getting to Togo and sharing with all of you how God uses the Hospital of Hope to meet needs!
