7 days….
It’s hard to believe that a week from today I’ll be getting on a plane headed to Togo! It’s hard to believe that it’s been over a year since I began this journey of medical missions and almost nine months since I left the Navy.
During this holiday season I am reminded I have much to be thankful for. I am thankful:
-for the chance to spend the past 9 months with my parents
-for the chance to visit my sister in Bangkok and spend some time with her and her friends.
-for the chance to celebrate Thanksgiving with my parents, brothers, sister-in-law and nephew
-for my many friends spread around the world
-for the chance to learn French and the friends I made at training
-for all those who are supporting me financially and in prayer as I head to Togo.
-for this opportunity to go to Togo to serve at the Hospital of Hope and provide compassionate healthcare to the people of Mango
I am extremely thankful for all the blessings the Lord has provided and His protection as I’ve traveled and prepared for my departure.
Prayer Requests:
-for wisdom as I pack and make final preparations for my departure
-that I will be able to sell my car quickly but at a good price
-I am currently at 72% monthly support. Will you prayerfully consider joining my financial support team?
I depart at 11am on Saturday, Dec 6th from Fort Wayne International Airport. If you’re in the Fort Wayne area feel free to come to the airport to see me off!
Bonjour Mike,
